Happy Pride Month! I’m celebrating with lots of reading (of course) and taking a look back at some of my favorite stories that highlight the experiences of LGBTQ+ community members.
As political and online vitriol continues to turn towards members of this community, it’s important for all of us to uplift and amplify lots of different kinds of stories—stories of joy, of finding oneself, of existing in outer space and hundreds of years ago.
There is incredible diversity of LGBTQ+ fiction out there, and I hope you all will find a new story to love through exploring it. Here are some of my favorite books with LGBTQ+ representation listed by genre:
